Service
We provide seasonal weekly or bi-weekly lawn maintenance that will cover maintenance from May 15 – October 15. The start/end time of our lawn maintenance varies by 1-2 weeks depending on the weather for the year. Our weekly maintenance typically schedules 22 visits throughout the season, and our bi-weekly maintenance has 11 scheduled visits. Our seasonal rates are priced for the full season. We operate commercial equipment including riding lawn mowers that require a clearance of 48” wide. We mow the lawn at a height between 2.5” – 3.5” depending on the yard and time of the season. During the hot summer period of June 15 – August 15, we do not cut the grass too short as it will cause a burnt lawn due to the heat. After work is performed, we blow sidewalks, driveways, porches and patios clear of any grass clippings or debris. Service hours include mowing as early as 8:00am to as late as 8:00pm. Any pet waste, toys or obstructions on the lawn must be removed prior to the service date or are subject to a clean-up fee. At times, we are forced to mow in mild rain, although we do use commercial equipment that allows us to do so, while maintaining quality. Grass clippings are to be mulched on site. However, we have powerful equipment that enforces our no clipping policy to make sure that no clippings or clumps are left visible on the lawn. Requests for bagging clippings or non-use of a riding lawn mower are subject to a $10 charge per cut. Scheduling
You will be given a day during the week that you are scheduled for service as decided by our schedule. Your weekly service date will allow for one day tolerance due to weather conditions and scheduling. For example if you are scheduled for Thursdays, we may come Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday depending on the week. In the event that we get a rainstorm that puts us behind schedule, please expect a few days delay that week and we will get back on schedule for the following week. Pricing
Our rates for lawns are dependent on a few variables including the square footage of the property, frequency of service, the location of the property, accessibility for our equipment and terrain of the lawn. Bi-weekly maintenance is charged at a 50% premium on a per cut basis compared to our weekly rates due to more lawn growth. Any additional work must be scheduled prior and will be billed at $75/man hour (20 min of work with 1 worker = $25). Any price adjustments for recurring service will be e-mailed or mailed 7 days prior to the effective adjustment. Payment/Billing
In order to be paid in a timely manner and create a hassle free service we require a billing account to be set up on file with Visa, Mastercard or other credit cards. The credit card will be charged on the first of every month for the prior month’s services. There are no credit card fees and an invoice will be e-mailed after the card is charged. Services will not begin until a credit card is on file. Pre-payments for the entire season are to be paid before May 15th and are subject to a 5% prepayment discount. HST is charged on all services. Cancellation
If you would like to cancel a scheduled service please call 48 hours in advance. Please note we do not allow refunds for cancellations of recurring services (skipped lawn cuts) as we only are able to take on a fixed amount of clients for the season – our business and employees rely on our clients for continued work throughout the season in order to be a sustainable company to serve our clients with reasonable rates and professional service for years to come. If you would like to cancel services entirely, please allow for 7 days of notice and billing will be halted immedietely. Our services auto-renew for the following season unless canceled through the office prior to the start of the new season (May 1st). Property Damage
In the event where property is damaged by our crew, we will need to be notified immediately. We will then send a manager out to document the damage and determine what actions are to be taken. If you arrange to fix the damage before contacting us, we will be unable to provide compensation for the repair. Contact
